Thought-Leader Community Guidelines

The purpose of this playbook is to provide guidelines on how we show up to our community and for each other.

Here is a video of Taylor discussing these guidelines (10 min).

1) Don’t pitch your products or services to other Thought-Leaders

2) We're all here to get better. Treat and communicate with others as you would like to be treated. Be sure to give feedback to other Thought-Leaders with respect and compassion. If in doubt, ask first before posting or sharing.

3) Be mindful of how much space and time you take up sharing and asking questions on intensives, both in the main room and in breakout rooms, so that everyone has enough time to share and get feedback. Say as little as possible, but as much as needed :)

4) Please reserve no more than 1 keynote and 1 five minute slot for Talk Practice calls per month to leave space for other people to take advantage of spots too, however, you can have unlimited sign-ups for the 1 minute slots. Please remember, other Thought-Leaders are prepping to deliver their talks as well!

  • If you sign up for a slot and "No-Show" for any reason, we will reserve the right to withhold your registration for the following month.

5) We want feedback about your experience, whether it’s positive or constructive, so we can continue to improve. Contact us directly and as quickly as possible if you have any feedback by reaching out to support@thought-leader.com

6) Engage in your topic of thought leadership in Workplace. For any logistical questions, go to your newsletter, reach out to us, or schedule a time to ask by emailing support@thought-leader.com.

7) Think before you post in Workplace. It’s always best to remain supportive and proactive when commenting, instead of posting or responding over-critically or reactively.

8) Remain patient when asking for feedback in Workplace or putting in a support ticket at support@thought-leader.com. We know there will be times you will feel urgent about getting support, but please be assured that we are constantly doing our best to serve the hundreds of clients in our programs. Remember, everything is a work in progress.
